What is Reach Resourcing, and is it now Reach Recruitment?

Yes, Reach Resourcing and Reach Recruitment are the same Hull agency, and HiringReach traced the name change through four public sources on October 2, 2026:

• The 2022 rebrand. A Business Live advertising feature dated 23 June 2022 says: "Previously known as Reach Resourcing the Hull-based firm has rebranded to Reach Recruitment as it becomes even more focused on specific sectors." It names Benjamin Davis-Rice as managing director and Rachel Swingler as recruitment director, and gives the new tagline, "say hello to opportunity."
• The company behind the website. The footer on every reach-recruitment.com page reads "Reach Resourcing Partnership Ltd," registered in England and Wales with company number 10576420. The trading name changed. The legal name did not.
• LinkedIn. The Reach Recruitment LinkedIn company page sits at linkedin.com/company/reach-resourcing. That old address is why Reach Recruitment posts still turn up when you search "reach resourcing."
• Hull City. A September 2021 news item on Hull City's website, from before the rebrand, covers Reach Resourcing and Edit Recruitment becoming Gold Partners of the club.

Reach Recruitment's Meet Our People page carries a message from its founder, Ben: "I started Reach in 2015 with the goal of doing recruitment differently. Having never worked in the industry, I had no idea what could or couldn't be done." The same page lists eight staff by first name and role, from managing director to accounts and payroll.

Reach Resourcing on Companies House: which record is the real one?

HiringReach found that the Reach Resourcing company running Reach Recruitment today is Reach Resourcing Partnership Ltd, number 10576420. HiringReach checked because the Companies House result that ranks for "reach resourcing" is a different company. That result, REACH RECRUITMENT LIMITED (09776791), was registered at 79 High Street, Golborne, Warrington, had one director, John McLean, and was dissolved on 27 February 2018. It has no link to the Hull agency that HiringReach could find. A Companies House search for "reach resourcing" on October 2, 2026 returned these records:

The officers list for Reach Resourcing Partnership Ltd showed one active director on October 2, 2026: Benjamin Davis-Rice, appointed 10 January 2018. Rachel Swingler's directorship ran from 22 February 2021 to 31 July 2026, and Companies House records five resignations in all. Reach Recruitment's Meet Our People page still listed a Rachel as Recruitment Director on the same day, so check with the office who your consultant is if that matters to you. One small mismatch: the Reach Recruitment website gives the postcode HU1 1TB and Companies House gives HU1 1BA, both for Offices 1 & 2, 27 Blanket Row.

Reach Resourcing jobs: what Reach Recruitment recruits for

Reach Recruitment, the former Reach Resourcing, describes itself on the homepage HiringReach read as an agency "specialising in providing top-notch staffing solutions to FMCG, Industrial, Manufacturing & Production businesses across Yorkshire and the Humber." It places skilled and semi-skilled staff on three kinds of contract: temporary, temporary-to-permanent and permanent. The roles named on the Reach Recruitment homepage on October 2, 2026:

• Warehouse and logistics: forklift drivers, warehousing and despatch operatives.
• Production and manufacturing: production operatives, caravan operatives and waste operatives.
• Facilities: cleaners.
• Office and customer roles: administrators, receptionists, customer care assistants and telesales.

The Reach Recruitment About page narrows its sectors to four: business support, warehousing, manufacturing and industrial. That is tighter than in 2022, when the Business Live feature also listed Engineering & Offshore, Technical & Quality, Commercial & Sales and Marketing & Digital. If you are an engineer or a marketer who worked with Reach Resourcing years ago, ask before assuming they still recruit for your field.

The Jobs page showed no listings in the page text HiringReach fetched on October 2, 2026, so HiringReach cannot give you a count of open roles. Open it in a browser or ask the office. Indeed also has a search page for Reach Recruitment jobs in Kingston upon Hull, which blocked HiringReach's request.

How Reach Resourcing works for candidates, and what HiringReach found it costs

Reach Recruitment, which job seekers in Hull may still know as Reach Resourcing, sets out its process on its Why Choose Us page. HiringReach summarises the eight steps as a candidate would meet them:

1. Advertising. Reach Recruitment posts adverts on its website, social media, email and leaflets.
2. CRM screening. Applications are filtered on qualifications, skills and experience in what Reach calls its custom-built CRM.
3. A phone screen on communication and interpersonal skills.
4. An in-person interview at Reach.
5. References, checked "in accordance with the REC rules and regulations."
6. A short PDF profile of your history, qualifications, skills and a personal statement, which goes to the client.
7. Training from a choice of more than 40 RoSPA-approved courses.
8. Ongoing support after you start, including first-morning check-ins and onsite visits.

On cost, GOV.UK's guidance on agency workers' rights is plain: "Recruitment agencies cannot charge you a fee for finding or trying to find you work." An agency may charge for extras such as CV writing, training or transport, but it must give you the fee in writing first, and it "cannot make you use these services as a condition for finding you work." Reach Recruitment's Candidate Upskilling page calls its courses "Free progression courses." Examples it lists include manual handling, first aid, fire safety, COSHH, food safety awareness, pallet truck training, working at height and banksman training. Is Reach Resourcing legit? HiringReach's checks on Reach Recruitment

On every check a job seeker can run from outside, Reach Resourcing, trading as Reach Recruitment, looks like a real, operating Hull agency. Each point below comes from Companies House or Reach Recruitment's own pages as HiringReach read them on October 2, 2026:

• An active company with a named director, accounts filed to 31 December 2025 and a confirmation statement dated 28 March 2026.
• A street address and phone number: Offices 1 & 2, 27 Blanket Row, Hull, and 01482 235100.
• A GLAA licence number, REAC0005, printed in the website footer. GOV.UK now says the Gangmasters and Labour Abuse Authority "was replaced by Fair Work Agency," so that is where to check it. HiringReach did not look the licence up.
• A named team of eight on its Meet Our People page.
• An award it reports winning: Customer Service Excellence at the Hull BID Awards.

Treat the rest as self-reported. The Reach Recruitment homepage says 100% of its clients are satisfied, 93% rate its out-of-hours service as excellent and it has 141 five-star Google reviews. Its Candidate Reviews page shows ten reviews, all positive, chosen by the agency. HiringReach has not verified any of these figures and has not used Reach Recruitment's services.

Red flags to check in a Reach Recruitment message

If someone contacts you using the Reach name, check the details before sharing personal information or paying anything:

• A request for money. GOV.UK says an agency cannot charge you for finding work. Anyone asking for a joining fee, a training deposit or a payment to secure shifts is not following the rules.
• An unfamiliar email domain. The Reach Recruitment site shows two addresses, [email protected] and [email protected]. A Reach email from any other domain needs a phone call to 01482 235100 before you reply.
• A recruiter from a different Reach. Several unrelated firms use the name, covered in the next section.

Reach Resourcing vs other firms called Reach: HiringReach's list

A search for "reach resourcing" or "reach recruitment" mixes the Hull agency with at least four unrelated businesses, and HiringReach checked each one's own page or record on October 2, 2026. Match the website to this list before you send a CV:

• Reach Recruitment, Hull (reach-recruitment.com). The former Reach Resourcing, covered on this page.
• Reach Recruitment Group Inc. (reachrecruitment.ca). A finance and accounting professional search firm. Its Why Reach page ranks for "reach resourcing," but it is a separate company with a .ca domain.
• Reach Recruiting (reach-recruiting.com). A hospitality agency in Chandler, Arizona that places restaurant, hotel and club managers. HiringReach covers it in the Reach Recruiting review for the Arizona hospitality agency, which also lists other Reach firms in the US, Canada and the UK.
• Reach plc. The newspaper publisher. Business Live, which ran the 2022 rebrand feature, is "a Reach plc subsidiary." Reach plc is not a recruitment agency.
• Reach Employment Services LLC. A ZoomInfo profile with this name ranks for the search. HiringReach could not open it, and it is not the Hull firm.

Is Reach Resourcing worth it for your job search?

HiringReach's view is that Reach Recruitment, the agency once called Reach Resourcing, is worth registering with if you want warehouse, production, cleaning or office work in Hull and East Yorkshire. It costs you nothing, it offers temp work that can turn permanent, and its training courses can add tickets such as pallet truck training to your CV.

• A good fit if you want shift work or a first role in FMCG, manufacturing or logistics around Hull, or you need temporary work quickly while you look for something permanent.
• Not the fit if you live outside Yorkshire and the Humber, want remote work, or are aiming at one specific employer that is not a Reach client. An agency can only put you forward for roles a client has asked it to fill.
