Rezi review and alternatives: where Rezi wins, and the 3 things HiringReach does differently.

We build HiringReach, so read this knowing that. Every Rezi fact on this page comes from rezi.ai and its pricing page, read on October 24, 2026. On price and features, Rezi is hard to beat. HiringReach is different in three places: it asks about your gaps before it writes, on Reach it finds the likely hiring manager, and it is built by people with decades in staffing.

Rezi: rezi.ai and rezi.ai/pricing. HiringReach: our plans.Checked October 24, 2026

If you are about to pay Rezi $29 a month, read this first... including the part where we tell you to go ahead and buy it.

Rezi says it has been helping job seekers since September 2019, and that more than 4.5 million people have used it. For $29 a month, Pro gives you unlimited resumes, unlimited AI interviews, unlimited PDF downloads and one review a month from a resume expert, a real person. Or you pay $149 once and keep Pro's tools for good (the monthly expert review is not part of that one).

We do not sell anything like that lifetime deal. Our plans are monthly.

So why look anywhere else? Three reasons.

The first is how your resume gets fitted to the job. In Rezi's own words: "Paste a job description and Rezi pulls every keyword you're missing." It then asks whether each missing keyword is relevant to your experience. That is a good feature.

HiringReach starts with you instead of the keyword list. It reads your resume against the posting and asks you 3 to 5 short questions about the gaps, in plain words. "Have you worked on revenue recognition under ASC 606?" A yes becomes a line on your resume. A no stays a no. Then, after it writes, it checks every line on the page against your resume and your answers, so each claim traces back to something you told it.

The second is what happens after you apply. On Reach, $49 a month, HiringReach makes a best guess at the hiring manager for each job, shows you the reasons behind the guess, and finds a verified work email and mobile. If it cannot verify one, you are not charged for it. Rezi's pricing page lists nothing like this.

The third is who built it. Most resume tools are built by software teams. The people behind HiringReach have spent decades in staffing, filling jobs at companies of every size and billing the clients who hired. That is how we know what a hiring manager looks for, and it is why HiringReach asks the questions a recruiter would ask before sending a candidate in.

If none of those matters to you, buy Rezi. If one of them does, your first job here is free and needs no card. Try both on the same posting and keep the resume you would rather defend in an interview.

Where Rezi fits better

Five reasons to pick Rezi instead.

All five come straight from Rezi's pricing page and homepage. If any of these is the thing you need most, Rezi is the better buy.

  1. 01

    You want to pay once

Rezi's Lifetime plan is $149, one payment, with Pro's features for good. Its pricing page notes the monthly expert review is not included. HiringReach has no lifetime plan: Tailor is $29 a month and Reach is $49 a month.

  2. 02

    You want unlimited resumes

Rezi Pro lists unlimited resumes and unlimited PDF downloads. Our paid plans tailor a resume for every job you apply to, with fair use up to 60 jobs a month.

  3. 03

You want a person to read your resume

Rezi Pro includes one review a month by a resume and hiring expert. On Rezi's Free plan, a review starts from $8. HiringReach has no human review.

  4. 04

You want more around the resume

Rezi lists five resume formats, a Rezi Score built on 23 metrics, unlimited AI interviews on Pro, job search, a mobile app for job matches and a Chrome extension that auto-fills applications. HiringReach has one plain layout and a job tracker, and you bring the posting yourself.

  5. 05

You want a tool with a long record

Rezi says it has helped job seekers since September 2019. It also offers a 30-day money-back guarantee on Pro and Lifetime. HiringReach launched in 2026, and our way to let you judge it first is a free first job.

Difference 1

It asks before it writes.

Paste the job and your resume. HiringReach finds where the posting asks for something your resume does not show, and asks you about it. Every question can be skipped, and a plain no is a fine answer.

  • Ask

3 to 5 questions about the gapsAbout the job's top requirements, the numbers behind your best work, and tools the posting names that you may have used.

  • Write

A resume for that one postingYour yes answers become lines. Your numbers stay your numbers: about 300 entries a month stays about 300.

  • Check

Every line against your answersAfter it writes, it compares each claim with your resume and what you told it. Then you read it, edit it and download Word or PDF.

The questions screen in the HiringReach app: five numbered questions about mentoring, revenue recognition, the close, the close team and NetSuite, each with an answer box reading 'A sentence or two. A plain no is a fine answer.' Buttons: Tailor my resume, Skip, Edit my resume.

Difference 2

On Reach, the person who likely owns the job.

A tailored resume gets you into the pile. Reach, $49 a month, helps you get it in front of the person who decides.

It reads the job title and the posting, including any "reports to" line, and works out which titles usually own that hire. Then it looks for people with those titles at that company, near that location. Each name comes with the reasons behind it and a plain label, from "Likely the hiring owner" to "Probably not", so you can judge the guess before you reveal an email.

  • Verified work email and mobile. If it can't verify one, you aren't charged for it.
  • Notes, follow ups, warm intros, reply help. Drafted for you to edit.
  • You press send. It goes from your own inbox. HiringReach sends nothing for you.

Difference 3

Built by people who have filled jobs for a living.

Most resume tools are built by software teams. HiringReach is built by people who have spent decades in staffing, placing candidates and billing the companies that hired them.

  1. 01

    Companies of every size

The people behind HiringReach have staffed small teams and large employers, and every size in between. That is where we learned what a hiring manager looks for on a resume.

  2. 02

The gap questions work like a recruiter

Before a good recruiter sends a candidate to a client, they ask about the requirement the resume does not show. HiringReach asks you 3 to 5 questions like that before it writes.

  3. 03

The hiring manager guess works like a recruiter too

When a recruiter takes on a role, the first job is finding who owns the hire. Reach reads the posting the same way: the title, the "reports to" line, and the titles that usually make that decision.

Rezi vs HiringReach

Side by side, row by row.

Rezi's column is quoted from its own pricing page and homepage. Where Rezi's pages do not mention something, the cell says so, which is not the same as saying Rezi lacks it.

Questions

Rezi questions, answered straight.

Q1Is HiringReach cheaper than Rezi?

No. HiringReach Tailor and Rezi Pro are both $29 a month. Rezi also sells a $149 Lifetime plan, and we have no lifetime plan. Reach is $49 a month and adds the likely hiring manager, verified work email and mobile, and outreach notes.

Q2What does HiringReach do differently from Rezi?

Three things. Before it writes, it asks you 3 to 5 short questions about the gaps between your resume and the posting, and after it writes, it checks every line against your resume and your answers. On Reach, it also makes a best guess at the hiring manager for each job, with a verified work email and mobile. Rezi's pricing page does not list a hiring manager search. And it is built by people who have spent decades in staffing, placing candidates and billing the companies that hired them.

Q3When is Rezi the better choice?

When you want to pay once ($149 Lifetime), want unlimited resumes, want a resume expert to review your resume each month (Pro), want several templates, a mobile app and job search in one place, or want a tool that has been running since 2019.

Q4Does Rezi have a free plan?

Yes. On October 24, 2026, Rezi's pricing page listed a Free plan at $0 with 1 resume, 1 AI interview, 3 PDF downloads and limited AI tools, with no card required.

Q5Can I try HiringReach free?

Yes. Your first job is free from start to finish: the questions, the tailored resume, the check against your answers, Word and PDF. No card. After that, Tailor is $29 a month and Reach is $49 a month, and you can cancel any time.

Q6Is this comparison fair, since you make HiringReach?

We are a competitor, so judge it with that in mind. Every Rezi fact here is taken from Rezi's own homepage and pricing page on October 24, 2026, and we have not tested Rezi hands-on. Where its pages are silent, the table says so instead of guessing.

Try both on one posting

Here is a fair way to decide in one evening.

  1. Pick the one posting you want most this week.
  2. Run it through Rezi's free plan and note what it suggests.
  3. Click Start free here, paste the same posting and your resume. No card.
  4. Answer the 3 to 5 gap questions, or skip any you like.
  5. Put the two resumes side by side and send the one you can talk through, line by line.

P.S. If you already know you want the person behind the posting, skip straight to Reach at $49 a month. You get every Tailor feature plus a best guess at the hiring manager for each job, with a verified work email and mobile. A miss is not charged.
